This Privacy Policy describes how Skeel Software LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use Divot ("the App").
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and name through our authentication provider, Clerk. You may sign in with your email or a third-party provider such as Google. Clerk's privacy policy governs how your authentication data is handled.
Usage Analytics
We collect anonymized usage data through PostHog, including screens viewed, features used, and session activity. This data does not include personally identifiable information and is used solely to improve the App.
Video Clips
If you enable cloud storage, video clips recorded through the App are uploaded to and stored on Cloudflare R2. These clips are associated with your account and are not shared with third parties. You can delete your clips at any time from within the App.
Device Information
We may collect basic device information (operating system, device model) for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- Location data
- Contacts or address book
- Microphone audio (the App records video only)
- Payment information (handled directly by Apple or Google)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the App
- Authenticate your account and keep it secure
- Store and retrieve your video clips (if cloud storage is enabled)
- Understand how the App is used and improve it
- Respond to your support requests
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

- Account data: retained while your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion.

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 18 should have parental consent before using the App. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@divotgolf.app and we will delete it promptly.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Opt out of analytics collection
- Export your data

8. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Video clips are stored encrypted at rest on Cloudflare R2. Authentication is handled by Clerk, which uses industry-standard security practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
